November 14, 2005 - Great Ocean Road, Victoria, Australia
This morning we left Melbourne for our camping trip. We went west along the Great Ocean road and stopped to look for seashells while the tide was low. In the rock pools we saw sea anemones, pink starfish, blennies, pink coral, and lots of snails.
We also stopped at an Aboriginal arts centre. We listen to a guy play the didgeridoo (cool sound!) and walked along a trail, where we got the chance to throw boomerangs (mine never came back to me).
While driving we saw a lot of sulfur-crested cockatoos, but it started to rain. When we finally got to a campground it was really rainy, so we were all really happy to find out that they had cabins there!

I love the picture with the cockatoo, it is beautiful.
